“Does lidocaine make you sleepy?”
I'm going to have a dental procedure with lidocaine, and I'm just wondering if I should have someone drive me home after my procedure. Does lidocaine usually make you sleepy?

Lidocaine usually does not make you sleepy. Often times it is combined with epinephrine which will have the opposite effect. In short, you will not need a ride home following use of lidocaine unless you have an adverse effect to it.
