OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions Hair Loss

Does pregnancy affect my hair's texture?

I'm in my second trimester of pregnancy and I noticed that the texture of my hair is changing and becoming more thinner and finer. Does pregnancy normally affect hair texture?

Yes.
Pregnancy actually makes your hair thicker because hair fall is minimal due to increased resting phase of hair follicle and the texture usually does not change. Talk to your OBGyn about your concerns.
