Go to the dentist and he will give you medicines.
To see a dentist would be a good start
Get a check-up by your dentist to find out the causes of gum disease you have.
Gum infection, also called periodontal disease, is the result of inadequate cleaning of your mouth. Consult a periodontist for proper treatment and maintenance of health.
There are many different kinds of gum infection with a variety of different methods to treat them. I recommend seeing your local dentist to avoid matters getting worse.
You need to see your dentist. There are many causes for a gum infection. After you solve your problem, get on a good home care routine. Ask how to floss correctly and let the dental staff show you on your own teeth and ask how to brush your teeth especially at the gum line. Flossing correctly daily and brushing correctly daily is the only way to control gum disease.
If you are diagnosed with an infection, antibiotics are the only treatment option to treat an infection
There are multiple types of infections that could be called a "gum infection." If the infections is caused by periodontal disease (gum disease), it is the calcified bacterial secretions building up under the gums that is causing the irritation and infection it needs to be removed, usually by a hygienist. If the infection is caused by an infected (dead or dying) tooth, the infection area needs to be treated either with an antibiotic or root canal therapy. Seeing a dentist to diagnose the cause and properly treat it would be the best solution.
There are many reasons for gum infections from bacteria to genetics. The first thing you always want to do is scaling and root planing which is a deep cleaning. From there, it’s imperative that you maintain regular check ups. An infection won’t go away just with Scaling and root planing, it’s trying to eliminate the bacteria causing the problem. Sometimes genetics plays a role or habits like brushing correctly, smoking or drinking alcohol are the root cause. There is no easy way to get rid of the infection, it’s a life long battle.
You have to get rid of the source of the infection. It could be from gum disease or other things. Visit your dentist.
You need to make an appointment with a dentist so that a diagnosis can be made. Certain infections can result in an emergency visit to the hospital, so I do not suggest putting this off.

If by infection in your gums you mean periodontal disease, then it’s a regiment of treatments, not a simple cure. Go see the dentist to diagnose the type and extent and set up a course of treatment to follow. Wish it was a simple answer or quick treatment.

A good oral hygiene at home and proper maintenance of the gums with 6 monthly cleanings can keep the gums healthy
If you think you have an infection in your gums you generally see bleeding when you brush but not always. You will know that you have a gum infection if you go to the dentist and they check what is called pocket readings with a little probe that has markings on it and they measure. Generally healthy gums are anything from 0 to 3 mm 4 mm and above is a sign of what's called a periodontal pocket. The way to treat this is by going to your dentist and they will do what's called a deep cleaning or the technical term would be scaling and root planing. After having this done generally 85% or so patients have a success of getting gums healthy again
