Salt breaks the cell wall of bacteria that is biomechanics, so if you have a bacterial infection, it will help you.
Salt water is the oldest and best natural solution that you can use. It is "cheap." Salt water can wash away debris, bacteria. Rinsing with salt water, especially after eating, is soothing to tissues. If you are away from home and in a fast food restaurant, you can get a salt PACKET and get a cup of warm water and rinse your mouth with salt water. This is a way to rinse your mouth when you are away from home.
it reduces inflammation.
Hello,

Salt water rinse is a saline solution. Your mouth is filling with all types of bacteria and using a salt water rinse kills bacteria. While you are killing all different types of bacteria with the salt water rinse, you are also killing the ones that cause gum disease which keeps your gums healthy.

Best of luck to you!
