Lower implants usually last 25-30 years but upper last 15-20 years at max.
Depends on many factors. Can last a lifetime but studies are showing that many can fail over time. How well you clean, how hard your bite is, how good your bone is and how well the dentist placed the implant are all important factors.

Dental implants are 98% successful. Usually, issues arise within the first two months of placement. Peri-implantitis is the main issue. This can arise due to bad or improper occlusion or bite. Poor oral hygiene, uncontrolled health issues, i.e., diabetes, smoking, and poor oral health are just some issues causing implants to fail. We have seen implants successfully integrated in patients for the last 20 years, If not more.

Implants can lost longer if they are maintained properly and looked after like natural teeth which includes visiting dentist yearly for regular check up and recall exam with Hygienist. Not only they provide teeth like to chew also support bone and tooth ligament by replacing the vacant space and maintenance of neutral zone of oral cavity and preventing from further damages to other oral structures.
It can be for a life time.
Implants can last at least 15-20 years or longer as long as they are properly maintained and cared for.
Hello,

Dental implants can vary in the amount of time they last. Some of the variables include; how the implant is placed, who places the implant (specialists have a longer survival rate of implants than general dentists), how soon the tooth starts functioning after the implant is placed. Which implant is placed, which size implant is placed, how many teeth the implant is replacing. While there are a lot of factors that go into the longevity of an implant, you should realized that while they usually fail for periodontal (gum) disease, an implant will not decay and get a cavity. The goal of any good dentist is always to get the implant to last for the rest of your life.
Hope this helps.

Best of luck to you!
