Normally 2-8 hours.
Hello. The surgery for clogged artery depends on where it is, which artery, how extensive it is, how long its been there and what surgery is planned. It can range from a thrombectomy in the leg about an hour, to 4-6 hours for a bypass in the leg.
There is a big range depending on which artery, and the technique used. If an angioplasty is being done it could be as short as 30minutes or maybe 2 hours depending on how complex the repair is. If a bypass is being done it can be up to 6hours for a vein graft of the leg
