Clarify with your surgeon. You should not lie flat.
It depends on what kind of surgery you have received. In general, after abdominal surgery, there are no special recommended sleep positions; you can sleep in any position, on your back, belly, or side. Most important is you have to exercise caution when you are getting up from laying down position, you have to roll to your side and then sit up using your upper extremity and side muscles. After any abdominal surgery, don't lift anything heavy more than 30 lbs and don't do sit-ups, push-ups, and crunches for a total of six weeks.
Depends on the type. The best is to sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated.
Any way that you can be comfortable unless your surgeon gives you specific restrictions.
