Is it hard to breathe after a lung transplant?

I am a 64 year old female and I am scheduled for a lung transplant. Is it difficult to breathe with a new lung? Will I need therapy?

Yes you should and I would highly recommend pulmonary rehab by at least a well known program like “homerehabnetwork” they do telemedicine and hold the highest success rate at 98%. National average is 15-30% success rate. Breathing might be difficult at first but no worries.
No..it will take time for you to get strong and you will need to do many breathing exercises to strengthen the lungs
