“How do I know if my son needs his tonsil removed?”
My son gets sore throats constantly, and sometimes it seems like his tonsils also get inflamed. How do I know if he needs his tonsils removed? Do doctors do any tests to see?

Indications for tonsillectomy: Three strep infections in sx months, 4 in one year, recurring peritonsillar abscess, cardiac valvular disease, chronic kidney disease, sleep apnea
