“Should a person with depression seek help?”
I'm a 32-year-old woman and I have been depressed for three months. It's been hard to even just get out of the bed in the morning. Should I see a doctor? Will it go away on its own?

Hello, yes, I believe an individual with depression should seek help. I recommend that you speak to your primary care physician to rule out any medical reasons that you are struggling with depression and to discuss medication if needed. I would also recommend that you speak to a mental health professional of your choice. I know that every day is a struggle and as you said the mornings are hard for you. Please seek help.

Absolutely. Depression is a symptom not a disease.
