I am unable to hear high-pitched sounds?

I am unable to hear high-pitched sounds, and I never had this issue before. What could be the reason for this?

Losing your sense of high-pitched sounds is quite common as we age. It’s one of the first tonalities we lose. There are, of course, many reasons for hearing loss ranging from a damaged ear drum to buildup of earwax. It’s best to consult an Audiologist.
