Drink plenty of water and see if this help you. Add pinch of pink salt to your glass of water.
Stretches, ice packs.
NSAIDS or tylenol and stretches that focus on range of motion. May be worth it so see your primary care dr.
Consult PT/OT. Stationary bike and Acupuncture with Moxibustion.
Since you are young, you are less likely to have a arthritis in your hip. You may have an impingement, torn cartilage or tendinitis. You should see an orthopedist as soon as you can.
You have to find the reason for the hip pain in order to determine what treatment is best. A primary care doctor or internist or orthopedist can help you with this. Sometimes all you need is a short course of anti inflammatories. Sometimes you may need some physical therapy. Please see your physician to determine why your hip hurts. Dr. Nomberg
Hip pain can come from a variety of problems. They can range from musculoskeletal pain or arthritis all the way to fractures and problems with blood flow into a joint. Sometimes joint pain can occur from another joint causing the problem especially your knees. A good start is to use ice/heat on for 15 minutes then off for 15 minutes for a total of one hour. Tylenol and/or Advil may be used as directed. If those are not effective, consultation with your primary care practitioner can be done to ascertain the cause of your pain and appropriate treatment. I hope this answer was sufficient.
