This is most commonly a sinus infection, or referred pain from a headache or cervical spine issue like arthritis. Less common cause could include inflammation in the eyes such as uveitis. Glaucoma caused by elevated pressure in the eyes does not usually cause pain, unless it is acute. From your description it sounds as if your pressure sensation is mild and chronic in nature. You should have a complete eye exam by an MD, and also consult your primary care doctor regarding possible sinus issues or other non-ophthalmic cause for headache and facial pain.

Most causes of pressure behind your eyes is sinus inflammation. Your eye is surrounded by sinus cavities. Glaucoma, which is increased pressure inside your eye, doesn't have symptoms right away. Pressure isn't one of them.
Glaucoma is a medical condition associated with elevated pressure in your eyes. You can feel a pressure sensation for many other reasons including sinus congestion, allergies, dry eyes, etc. Please schedule an appointment with your ophthalmologist to evaluate.
The most likely possible reasons are increased eye pressure, sinus disease, and dental disease. Rarer inflammatory diseases, some related to thyroid disease, are also possible.
Pressure behind the eye is usually caused by sinusitis. Pressure in the eye is usually caused by glaucoma. SO
At your age, it could be sinus pressure or eye strain. Also, as people get older, it could be glaucoma. You should be checked by an ophthalmologist.
