“What is the best way to treat dry mouth?”
I have dry mouth and I don’t know what to do to treat it effectively. What do you recommend?

Dry mouth is best treated by using a small spray bottle with flavored water to spray throughout the day. Consult a dentist who is familiar with dry mouth its causes and treatment.
There are several OTC remedies for this. I recommended either Biotene Mouthrinse, Act dry-mouth lozenges, or All Day Dry Mouth Spray. If this doesn't work you may have a prescription written to combat dry mouth but this is not recommended.
Dry mouth can be an enormous problem leading to rampant tooth decay. Make sure you get plenty of fluids and extra fluoride protection. Dry mouth is a side effect of many medications and cancer therapies. As average age of the population increases, people are taking greater numbers of drugs and this side effect is becoming more common. Talk to your dentist.
