What is the difference between a heart attack and a myocardial infarction?

I am a 34 year old male. I want to know what is the difference between a heart attack and a myocardial infarction?

They are essentially the same. Myocardial infarction means damage to the heart muscle from blockage of the heart artery which is the same as heart attack.
These terms usually mean the same thing. One can get more technical STEMI, NSTEMI —- these are more descriptive and are used by cardiologists.
It’s the same. People call a heart attack an episode of severe chest pain caused by a blockage of the coronary arteries that is causing a myocardial infarction.
Same
They are one and the same. The terms are used interchangeably.
