Only a licensed dentist can tell you what would be a right solution for an infected tooth. In general, if infected tooth can be treated then root canal treatment and a crown will be recommended, if a tooth can not be treated - it will have to be removed. No other solutions exist to treat a tooth infection. Antibiotics do not treat or cure tooth infection, but do help to limit infection spread and allow dentist to numb up the tooth when treatment is provided if it is done while you are taking the antibiotics.
Usually the solution is endodontic treatment or root canal therapy. This procedure sterilizes the inside of the canal.
The solution is root canal therapy followed with restoration/filling and crown/cap.
You have to start antibiotics and then do the root canal about half way through the antibiotic therapy so that after it’s done, you can finish the rest. I like to do a 10-day therapy.

Root canal treatment is the proper solution for root canal infection by removing and cleaning the infection inside the root canal/nerve space.
