What painkillers can I take for tooth pain?

I am a 22 year old female who has a bad toothache. I can't see a dentist for a week. What painkillers can I take for tooth pain?

I like Ibuprofen best for pain. Do not overdose.
Advil, Motrin, alleve
600 mg ibuprofen (motrin, advil) and 500 mg tylenol together every 6 hours
Four Advil is a prescription level dose, then two tylenol two hours later, and alternating these is about the best you can do if you can take these meds.
If you do not have any drug allergies, over the counter Motrin or Tylenol will help to reduce the pain.
Three 200mg Ibuprofen and One Extra Strength Tylenol is equivalent to narcotics. You can take this every six hours for pain for a couple of days only, as long as you can take Ibuprofen and Tylenol (no allergies or other health concerns with these medications). In general, be careful not to take too much Acetominophen (Tylenol) as it is tough on your liver.
