When can I eat after spinal anesthesia?

I am a 39 year old female. I want to know when can I eat after spinal anesthesia?

Ice chips immediately. Solid food 2 hours.
Well, certainly it depends on the type of procedure which you are having and how quickly you recover afterward. As long as you are not feeling nauseated, I don't see any reason why you couldn't start eating as soon as the spinal wears off. I suggest sips of water and clear liquids first to see how you will tolerate intake. If that goes well, you should be able to eat immediately. Check with your surgeon and anesthesia team first.
Depends on the surgical procedure of course but when anesthesia is the only consideration, patients are often given crackers or done such in the recovery room.

As soon as you recover movement and can walk and void. Could take 3 or 4 hrs.
