I haven't hit my head on anything recently and it doesn't affect anything that i do. Why is there a big lump on my head?

Sounds like you need to go see your doctor for a check up.
It would be very hard to know without examining you. I would recommend that you go to your family doctor or internist 1st and have them assess the situation and then recommend you to a specialist based on what they find.
