What symptoms led up to your diagnosis?

I had pain in my ribs mostly on my left side.

What tests did your doctor do, and what was this experience like?

I was referred to the breast pain clinic. Told that it was pain from inflammation in my ribs and to take paracetamol and was discharged.  Because of my age (51) I was offered a mammogram, and the cancer was found. 

Upon learning about your diagnosis- what happened next?

Within weeks I had a WLE and when healed, had chemo and radiotherapy.  Finished all treatment in Feb 2018.  No more rib pain!!  

Have a hot spot now on my pelvic bone.  Have to have third bone scan in 5 months.  They are going to watch and wait.
