David Amador, MS, LAc, is a graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College. Having completed over 3,000 hours of clinical training that included a clinical internship in Zhejiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China. He practices in East Syracuse and in Macedon, NY. He evaluates and treats patients based on the concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Mr. Amador specializes, but is not limited to, sports medicine, pain management and Tui Na (Chinese medical massage). Born in Mexico City, Mr. Amador began his studies in Taijiquan, Qigong and Gongfu, in 1986. Since then, he has participated in dozens of seminars and workshops, in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, Canada, USA and China. He is a certified instructor of the Five Sections Taijiquan Program. In Puerto Rico, he taught medical qigong in the Hospital Español Auxilio Mutuo for twelve years.
