K-Phos Tablet is a drug used to treat high pH levels in the urine and prevent the formation of calcium kidney stones and subsequent urinary tract infection. This drug is available as a 500 mg tablet.

Interactions:

K-Phos Tablets may interact with medications such as:

  • High blood pressure drugs (ACE inhibitors such as lisinopril, ARBs such as valsartan)
  • Potassium supplements/salt substitutes
  • Vitamin products such as vitamin D or calcium
  • Potassium-sparing diuretics such as amiloride, spironolactone or triamterene

Side Effects:

There are no side effects known aside from a possible allergic reaction in people who have previous or unknown hypersensitivity to the drug.

Watch out for signs of allergic reactions such as:
