Fatty Liver can lead to steatohepatitis. Inflammation of the liver from fat deposition. Steatohepatitis has four stages before cirrhosis(liver failure). Fatty liver cannot be fixed if it has advance to any stage of steatohepatitis. However, weight loss can stop it from progressing.
It depends, by and large, by the reason you developed fatty liver. Most of us will develop it because of too many calories per day, and might get better with restricting your calorie intake. Some have it from alcoholism. Stopping drinking will prevent advancement of the condition. Best regards, Rad Constantine
