Contacts make dry eyes drier. Contacts suck up your tears. You need to wet your eyes with refresh eye drops regularly like every now and then whenever dryness is felt.
First you need to treat the dry eyes. You can start with drops such as refresh or systane . You may be a candidate for prescribed drops for dryness such as restasis or cequa or xiidra . For the contacts you should never sleep in them . Best for you would be daily wear.  You need to see an eye care professional to be evaluated for dry eyes and get the proper treatment .
