How do you use cognitive behavioral approaches to treat chronic pain?

I am a 29 year old male. I want to know how do therapists use cognitive behavioral approaches to treat chronic pain?

Cognitive behavioral approaches include mindfulness-based procedures and meditation and relaxation strategies to help manage chronic pain. In fact, for many people who are unable to take medication for various reasons, CBT strategies can be helpful.
Hello Sir,

You may want to read "Cognitive Behavioural Therapy" by Christine Wilding. It explains i detail about various issues for which CBT is used. You may also want to contact a Pain specialist in your area to find out whether thy use CBT.
Take care and remain safe.
