Typically the recovery period after septoplasty surgery takes approximately 3 weeks with limitations in activities. However, postoperative discomfort is minimal.
Just like any surgery, it depends on the difficulty and the amount of deviation of your septum. Your recovery will also be affected by how well you adhere to your post operative recovery instructions.
In most cases, you can recover from a Septoplasty within a week but it will take a full 6 weeks or longer to heal well enough before resuming your normal exercise routine.
About a week
In general a simple septoplasty will heal in a few weeks. Depends on amount of work done.
Recovery from rhinoplasty, which includes septoplasty, has early and late phases. In terms of any nasal swelling or edema after rhinoplasty, there may be some trace amount that persists through the first 9-12 months, but typically this is noticeable only to you and your surgeon. Early recovery usually entails use of nasal splints, both placed internally and externally, and these are removed from anywhere from 1 week to 2 weeks post-op. After that, you must take great care of yourself to avoid accidents or trauma to your nose, as a freshly corrected nasal septum is delicate and takes weeks to months to definitively heal.

Takes one year to see final result. You are up and running by 6 weeks. No contact sports for 6 months. No skiing or scuba diving for 3 months.
Recovery from septoplasty ranges from 1-3 weeks
If done properly and if there are only minor septal deformities, recovery should only take 7 to 10 days. TURBINATE issues that compromise airflow will alter this time frame and lengthen the recovery.
Typically 2-4 weeks
