Generally after a rhinoplasty, we recommend that you sleep elevated and on your back for the duration of 2 weeks. After that, as long as you do not sleep on your face/nose, you can sleep normally.
You should always follow your plastic surgeon's advice, but I suggest waiting at least eight or more weeks.
We usually recommend that you sleep in an upright position for about 5 to 7 days. The danger of sleeping on your side is that you may roll over onto your face and possibly compromise the results of surgery. However, not every scenario can be prevented, and getting restful sleep is always a positive thing. I think, try your best to sleep in an upright position for as long as you can and discuss with your surgeon when they feel comfortable with you sleeping on your side.

Most surgeons typically will ask you to wait 3-4 weeks before side sleeping.
