Tooth pain may be caused by a variety of reasons. They include, but are not completely listed as: tooth decay, gingival inflammation, bad occlusion, injury to the teeth, gums, or jaws, inflammation of these areas, oral cancer, arthritis, orthodontic treatment, extraction of teeth, badly fitting partial dentures, lack of vitamins or dietary insufficiency, various diseases such as
STD's, fungus and viral infections, root involvement, etc. The best way to treat tooth pain is to visit your dentist's office and let the dentist find out (diagnose) what is causing the pain. The dentist has many treatment modalities to relieve the cause of the pain and to restore health to the mouth and to the teeth. Pain is nature's way to tell you something is seriously wrong. If you cannot sleep because of tooth pain, then seeing your dentist is the best solution.
Dear Reader,

The best way to sleep with tooth pain, is to see a dentist and get rid of it. Tooth pain is a sign your body is sending you telling you something is damaged or diseased. The only way to eliminate the pain is treatment. In the meantime, try an over the counter analgesic like ibuprofen or acetaminophen.

Hope this helps,

Difficult! You can take, if you don’t have stomach or bleeding problems, 4 regular aspirin at one time, 20 min before bed, with 8oz glass of warm water. That’s equal to a half grain of codeine. You could repeat in 6-8 hours, but you can’t keep doing that. Just a couple of times, or you could have complications. Untreated tooth pain can lead to serious problems also.
The best you can after you take some over the counter pain medication and then call your dentist first thing in the morning!.
500 mg Tylenol with 600 mg ibuprofen. See your dentist to fix the problem
