Some say yes, some say no. My silver fillings are over 50 years old and in good shape. I would not trade them for white fillings.
White fillings today are much better than what they were twenty years ago. Silver fillings have become a thing of the past. I think you will be much happier with a white filling.
Not necessarily. A white filling looks more natural, but a silver filling is more durable. So it depends on what your priority is.
