OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

Painful bump?

I have a bump on my vaginal area and it hurts. I have had ingrown hairs before and that’s what it feels like but it hasn’t gone away and it’s been a week. I’m afraid it may be something else.

You need to have a physical exam to determine the cause, I recommend calling your gynecologist.
I recommend having that examined as soon as possible. It's difficult to diagnose at this point, but with your history of SLE, the area needs to be examined and possibly biopsied for a complete diagnosis. Hidradenitis suppurativa could be the condition and be difficult to treat, but
antibiotics can be the first step and eventually may need to be removed.
Please attend the nearest GYN clinic for evaluation. Pictures are not very clear. Stay safe.
