OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

Pregnancy?

I am 35 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I keep having what they think is anxiety fits. My heart rate goes up, I panic, get lightheaded and at the end of the episode, I shake all over. It is quite scary for me. They told me they believed I also had POTS. Can you please tell me what's going on?

I would recommend getting an electrocardiogram done, electrolyte testing. At the same time, avoiding any stimulants, hot/cold beverages which can lead to anxiety and increase in heart rate. If testing normal, I would recommend avoiding the hot/cold beverages and deep breathing exercises.
Hydration (80-90 oz/day) with Himalayan sea salt helps tremendously with Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. Meditation everyday helps, you can use an app called head space.
Breathing exercises called Pranayama helps. Look up on YouTube.
Good luck!!
You should call/see your health care provider for a through check-up. They help to find out the correct diagnosis and appropriate management.

Best of luck,
