“What can you eat after rectal surgery?”
I am a 55 year old male. I want to know what can you eat after rectal surgery?

As with most questions, you should ask the person doing your surgery, but in general, stay away from spicy foods and things that will give you constipation or the runs.
Please discuss with Surgeon that performed procedure. May start out with puree or heart healthy diet.
