What safety measures should we take to keep all of us safe?

I’m recovering from covid after testing positive 13 days ago. My father who is fully vaccinated wants to bring us groceries. What safety measures should we take to keep all of us safe?

Especially if you are no longer symptomatic, you are not likely to be infectious. Despite this, if both you and your dad wear a good N95 mask when you are exchanging groceries, you should be safe at this point. Obviously washing your hands pre and post your unpacking groceries and being with your dad also ups the safety factor.

You do not mention anyone but your father and you, though you say “us.” At 13 days out, you are unlikely to transmit (assuming you are immunosuppressed). I think that he can bring the groceries to your door or patio, not have physical contact with you. If there are others in the house, keep masks on them and away from him. He is expected to be protected from serious COVID-19 disease, and probably from infection, but no need to risk transmission.
