I'm supposed to have a bone marrow transplant consultation at the end of the week. What kind of tests are they gonna perform?

Modern terminology now generally refers to a bone marrow transplant procedure as a stem cell transplant, as it's a more accurate description of the medical treatment. For consideration of a stem cell transplant, there are several questions to be addressed.
If a donor has been identified no tests will likely be done except routine blood tests. The consultant will likely discuss the procedure
