“When should I go to the ER for lower abdominal pain?”
I am a 36 year old male. I want to know if I should go to the ER for lower abdominal pain?

Please see GI doctor first if the pain is tolerable.
I will usually recommend an ER visit for pain that is rated higher than a 7 out of 10. Also if it is associated with nausea and vomiting, fevers, difficulty urinating, blood in your urine or stool. If you have difficulty moving, if your abdomen feels rigid, or if the slightest touch worsens your pain.
