USUALLY NOT. GET YOUR EAR CHECKED BY ENT DOC.
There’s a lot of things that can cause hearing problems, especially to the inner ear/cochlea. It is a very small structure that has thousands of tiny haircells that are organized like a piano. The Cochlea is organ of hearing; like many organs in our body it is supplied by blood and oxygen so Hearing loss could be related to heart issues. It would be good to get a hearing test by an audiologist at an ENT office. The audiologist will check your hearing and the ENT can go over your medical history, blood work, results to see what is likely causing the loss.
Yes, low-frequency sensorineural hearing loss has been linked to cardiovascular disease, and that type and pattern of hearing loss often shows up before the cardiovascular disease. It is somewhat of a predictor. However, pre-existing bearing loss can also be exacerbated by cardiovascular disease.
