How do you kill fungus in your nail?

I am a 32 year old male and I was diagnosed with nail fungus. How do you kill fungus in your nail?

Many options but systemic treatment with an oral anti-fungal is usually the best choice
If only a few nails are involved, a topical antifungal treatment will likely be enough to clear it. If the nail fungus is chronic or involves several nails, a prescription oral antifungal medication is probably necessary to get rid of it. For best results, see a dermatologist to guide you in the right direction.
I drill fractional Erbium holes through the toenail and then apply topical Loprox solution or Jublia q h.s. for 6 months while the nail regrows. Highly effective cure.

That is very difficult to do. We used to only have oral treatments for this but now we have topical prescriptions that are a lot safer. The first thing to do though is to have a sample of the nail sent to the lab to make sure that you actually have nail fungus as it is often misdiagnosed.
Consult your physician to see which treatments are right for you. Your doctor may prescribe an antifungal nail polish called ciclopirox (Penlac). It's applied to infected nails and surrounding skin once a day. You may need to apply for up to a year. Oral antifungal drugs like terbinafine (Lamisil) and itraconazole (Sporanox) can be used but blood tests are required to check for liver issues. You typically take this type of drug for six to 12 weeks depending on whether finger nails or toe nails are involved.
The treatment modality with the highest cure rate is an oral antifungal (terbinafine). Prescription topical medications are much less effective.

Not so much kill, but treat it with ANTIf-fungals. Pill form is effective, but it's a long process until nail grows back normal.
