Cardiologist Questions Right bundle branch block

What is a right bundle branch block? Is it something serious?

My recent ECG report indicated that I have a right bundle branch block. The doctor didn't tell me much about it. What is it supposed to be? Is it something serious that requires immediate attention?

Not serious. It is a benign abnormality.
Could be normal if you were born with it
This means the electricity flows at a slower speed from one side of the hearts electrical system. If this is new, it may need an assessment but can often occur in healthy individuals.
No usually but could be heart disease but most likely pulmonary issues or totally normal
