Ear-Nose and Throat Doctor (ENT) Questions Streptococcal Infections

Can stomach cramps and a slight pain in my chest be a sign of the streptococcal infection?

I am experiencing slight pain around my chest along with frequent stomach cramps. I read that these could be symptoms for strep, but my throat doesn't have a severe pain. Could it be a streptococcal infection?

It is possible this is a streptococcal infection, but it also can be a sign of other pathology. Recommend you see a physician.

Streptococcal Pharyngitis gives rise to a throat pain with swallowing difficulties. Stomach cramps are usually the result of lower gastrointestinal problems with bloating causing the chest discomfort. Those symptoms are not usual characteristic of strep infections.
