“What are the best remedies for mononucleosis?”
My 10-year old son has mononucleosis and his doctor recommended home remedies. What are the best ones that we can do at home to make his condition a bit more bearable?

Mono is caused by Ebstein barr virus and you get over it quicker if you get plenty of rest. The spleen can swell so you do not need to get hit in the abdomen. No contact sports or rough housing. Some times a multivitamin daily helps increase their energy but rest is important.
