What fluid should ideally be used when irrigating eyes?

I am a 33 year old female. I want to know what fluid should ideally be used when irrigating eyes?

Ideally, your own tears, but otherwise: Sterile Saline or other sterile eye wash solution.
Saline solution.
I do not generally recommend irrigating the eyes unless a chemical substance is splashed. Irrigation would remove the products that keep the eyes healthy and lubricated properly. If the eyes feel dry or irritated, using simple artificial tear drop preparations are a better choice.

Normal saline
Saline and eye wash can be used for irrigation.
