Ophthalmologist Questions Eyelid Disorders

What is wrong with my eyelid?

I'm 18 years old, and I noticed that my left eyelid is a little lower than my right one. What caused this? Is this normal?

It can be normal or serious depending on the cause. See an Ophthalmologist to rule out Horner's syndrome or myasthenia gravis.
It could be mechanical ie from contact lens wear, myogenic, ie a weak muscle from birth or an acquired eye muscle disease such as myasthenia gravis, or neurologic, if it is accompanied by alterations in the movement of the eye and the pupil.
This can be from contact lens use, but it can also be normal.

It could be congenital ptosis. See a Dr to exclude anything treatable.
