Start immediately. You may need some time before you get results. Good luck
As a specialist in women's reproductive health I have successfully treated a lot of women who either had difficulty conceiving or who simply wanted to create a healthy environment for conception to happen. It is never too early to start acupuncture for fertility support, actually the sooner the better!
When it comes to Acupuncture for fertility, as soon as you're ready to work on it you should go in. At a minimum, if you just want to support fertility and don't have any known fertility problems, I would go in at least 3 months before you start "actively" trying to get pregnant. Personally - as soon as I started thinking about getting pregnant, I started asking my acupuncturist to start supporting my fertility. I can definitely say - it works!
Acupuncture is a wonderful treatment for fertility. You can get wellness treatments to keep your health optimal for conceiving. If you are having issues with becoming pregnant then I recommend a consultation and treatment program. There are many qualified acupuncturists in the Tampabay area and I treat this issue as well.

As soon as you realize you want to become pregnant, it’s great to start focusing your acupuncture visits on points related to boosting your body’s natural fertility! Just inform your acupuncturist of your interest and she or he will adjust your treatment and herbs accordingly! For those who have had issues getting pregnant, it’s best to begin a course of consistent
fertility-geared treatments for 3-6 months prior to additional therapies needed, the longer, the better! For optimal fertility boost, it’s best to also include traditional Chinese medicine in your plan.
All the best of luck for a smooth and healthy pregnancy!

You can start working with an acupuncturist well before you plan to have a baby. Many benefits.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Hi,
I would recommend to take acupuncture treatments at least 3 months before you plan to have a baby. Your body needs to get ready for healthy pregnancy.
Thank you for your inquiry.

Infertility in Chinese medicine is defined as trying to conceive for over 2 years. If you have had trouble conceiving for over 2 years, there may be something going on. At any point, you can use acupuncture to aid fertility. It is excellent at balancing hormones and prepping the body for conceiving.
Thank you for your inquiry about acupuncture. If you are planning to have a child in the near future, you should start now, and your husband should go as well.
Wishing you all the best!

Thank you for the question,
You should get acupuncture or Chinese herbs for fertility after you are married six months or one year.

Have you being diagnosed with “infertility”? There is good evidence that acupuncture is very effective on treating infertility. If you’re having issues, there’s a good chance that we can help you. It depends on the individual for example if you need support regulating your cycle, help with producing a health egg or something else.

Opinions vary on this. For me, regular treatments immediately would be my recommendation. After all, in our system, infertility that doesn't stem from a physical problem is the system being weak, and it takes months at best to treat this. You could start consuming cordyceps mushrooms and Royal Jelly, a bee product, to strengthen this energy... small amounts at breakfast time (7am-9am) daily. These are very safe substances but you should still consult a physician before taking anything especially since i have not seen you to evaluate what is going on with you.
if you are undergoing fertility treatments, or doing in vitro, you probably want to do a treatment the day before treatments also.
Hope that is helpful and good luck!

It depends on what types of other treatment you might be doing currently or have tried previously. All treatment plans are specific to each patients needs.
I have used acupuncture to treat infertility both in conjunction with conventional treatments and without. You would probably want to a work-up with your MD to find what ti causing it.
Typically, you want to give yourself a year to try without any external support. However, you can start acupuncture for firtility whenever you would like! It is also a great supplement to western fertility treatements such as IUI and IVF.
Before you ovulation for sure. If you have menstrual issues such as irregular bleeding or cramps, you should start right before you next period in addition to ovulation time.
When you should start acupuncture to address a fertility issue depends a lot on whether you're trying to use acupuncture as a stand-alone treatment or whether you're using acupuncture in conjunction with other fertility therapies.
Assuming both you and your partner have been checked out and there are no structural issues or problems with sperm quality. Also assuming you're using acupuncture as a stand-alone approach you're probably looking at 3 months of weekly treatment. It's best if both of you receive treatment during this course.
If you're using acupuncture in conjunction with other conventional fertility treatments, I'd still start acupuncture at least a month or two ahead of the conventional procedures. For invitro fertilization and implantation, there are some studies showing increased success with an acupuncture session immediately before and immediately after the implantation procedure.
When dealing with fertility issues you want to make sure you're seeing a board certified and state licensed acupuncturist rather than a chiropractor or physical therapist who might be offering "acupuncture-like" services under the scope of their DC or PT license. You'll be best served by an L.Ac./R.Ac. who has a ABORM (American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine) certification. This will be someone who attended and graduated from an accredited school of Chinese medicine and then received extended training specific to fertility and reproductive issues. To find someone like this, you can go to ABORM.org and use their "Find a Practitioner" look up.
