Why are my hands so itchy?

From time to time, I get red and itchy hands and it almost seems like bug bites. It happens a lot. Why do you think this happens so often?

Can be something internal or external contact irritants
Many things can cause this. Depending where you live, cold climates cause itchy rashes of the skin, pruritus hiemalis. Lubricate often, wear gloves.
It’s difficult to make a diagnosis over that description but a disease called dyshidrotic eczema can cause small blisters on the hands that are quite itchy. Treatment is avoiding harsh soaps, fragrances, and water. Topical prescription cortisones are helpful to control symptoms. For that see your local board certified dermatologist.
It sounds like you are having an allergic reaction to something. Either something you are frequently touching, or you maybe experiencing psoriasis. Go to your doctor to have an allergy test done.
This could be a contact dermatitis or hives. See your dermatologist to help you with this.

Go to see a dermatologist who has worked in Asia. Common bug in Asia, but Europeans don't know about it.
