  • Water– Staying hydrated can help prevent headaches that often accompany nausea. Gradually drinking small amounts and shifting to a larger amount when your stomach can handle it can be very beneficial.
  • Mint– A typical home remedy for nausea is drinking mint tea or chewing fresh mint leaves.
  • Peppermint and Lemon– Even the smell of peppermint and lemon is known to relieve nausea. Peppermint tea and oil can also be beneficial as they relax the stomach muscles. Lemon juice mixed with water is also a natural cure for nausea.
  • Chamomile Tea– This has tranquilizing effects that alleviate stress and anxiety, which can cause and worsen nausea. Chamomile tea also lessens cramps and contractions in the stomach.

Other anti-nausea foods include cumin seeds, honey, onion, aniseed, apple cider vinegar, and ice cubes or popsicles. All these foods can help manage nausea.
