Yes acupuncture and herbs with massage sometimes can help you out. It will take you sometime to see the results, you can get acupuncture sessions for 2-3t/week for at least four to eight weeks then do observation and also avoid cold food or drinks, also if you have cold hands and feet or not; your provider should know these! It would work.

Hard to say. I have seen it work well for some people who have hormonal imbalances so it might help alleviate symptoms, but this is not something specifically I have seen a patient with so I'm not sure. It is unlikely to cause any harm and worth a try. Make sure you find a fully trained and experienced practitioner!
No.
It may, but I would suggest a physical therapy together with acupuncture to strengthen the core musculature
It can. Acupuncture can help treat the adenomyosis (fancy medical term for enlarged uterus) and its side effects. We have a different understanding of reproductive health, which means that this condition may be in relation to other bodily functions. Working to correct and support your whole body will help alleviate the symptoms and treat the condition itself.
Not quite sure about this. Personally, I think an enlarged uterus may produce more hormones, which may influence metabolism, but you should find other reasons which may have an influence on your weight.
Acupuncture might help. It depends on the cause of the enlarged uterus. This condition should be co-managed by a gynecologist. This is one of the few conditions which is sometimes best treated by western medicine while we support the body and reduce inflammation with acupuncture.
An enlarged uterus would make you look heavier, but not cause true weight gain. But an enlarged uterus could be a life-threatening problem. I would not rely on acupuncture alone, I would see a doctor who specializes in gynecology. Quickly.
While I don’t have his specific condition, there are certainly points that stimulate gentle uterine contractions and increase arterial blood flow to the uterus, which can improve muscle tone of the uterine wall.
We use acupuncture to harmonize the flow of life energy, which in turn will help regulate and harmonize the body itself. Acupuncture can definitely help with an enlarged uterus whether it's due to inflammation or another cause. But definitely follow mainstream's medical advice as well.

Live happy,

Michael
Hi there,

Please consult with your doctor before seeking other types of treatment. In TCM, there is chi kung exercises, acupuncture techniques, and herbal medicine to help with this condition. Please get a referral from your physician and get a proper diagnosis from your acupuncturist for correct treatment.
It is best first to get a diagnosis via an OB/GYN to rule out any possible underlying issues.
Whether acupuncture can help depends on the cause of your enlarged uterus. If you haven’t yet gotten a medical diagnosis as to the reason for your enlarged uterus, it is important to determine this with your doctor. The most common causes of an enlarged uterus are uterine fibroids and adenomyosis.

Uterine fibroids are benign growths of the uterus that rarely become cancerous. Size varies from very small to quite large. Fibroids often appear during childbearing years, typically grow under the influence of estrogen and usually resolve after menopause. The Mayo Clinic website lists other possible causes as genetic changes in normal uterine muscle cells or changes in growth factors that stimulate the growth of tissues. Many women have found that using acupuncture/electro-acupuncture, Chinese herbs, dietary protocols and essential oils to be effective at helping to shrink fibroids.

Adenomyosis enlarges the uterus when endometrial tissue that lines the uterus invades the muscular wall of the uterus. The cause remains unknown, but also usually resolves after menopause. There is not a great deal of research on the effectiveness of acupuncture for treating adenomyosis, but a study published in the December 2014 issue of World Journal of Acupuncture - Moxibustion reports 100% effectiveness using acupuncture treatment of 23 cases of adenomyosis.
Yes, acupuncture is to help the body to regulate the system. I treated edema of the ovaries with Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture, it was so successful, the doctor's wife became pregnant very quickly. It is the same principle.
The bigger the uterus is, the colder the uterus is, so the circulation can not be done and the blood and lymph are stagnating.
When you warm your body and get cold out of the gyro that passes through the uterus, the uterus gets warmer and the uterus becomes smaller as it circulates spontaneously.
It's possible, however, we would need to evaluate you and determine if it's appropriate.
I don't understand how your uterus would make you gain weight. We can help with losing weight. Acupuncture helps with a lot of female issues. A consult is what I would recommend in order to determine care.
I do not know enough about your condition to clearly evaluate, but acupuncture is helpful with reducing inflammations and some growths. You would need to have an L.Ac assess you personally and let them know everything the MD's have advised or done for you. They would need to know if this is a normal growth from your body (ie. genetic) or if it was from some other reaction to something to assess properly.

The weight gain from an enlarged uterus is not something to see as "weight gain", so please have this looked at so that your uterus can be more healthy. If you haven't seen an MD about this, do that first so the L.Ac. will know if it is in our scope to address.

Good luck.
No, I don't think so.
Do you know what caused the enlarged uterus? Fibrosis? Cysts? Or something else? Need to check with your gynecologist to find out what caused the uterus to enlarge. Acupuncture combined with herbs may be able to help your situation.
I personally wouldn't know how to treat an enlarged uterus, but there may be an acupuncturist near you who might. Acupuncture can treat just about anything. It's just about how much the practitioner knows.
Hello,

Acupuncture can help reduce the enlarged uterus. Many times, the herbal medicine and moxabustion treatment may be added. Please consult with the local acupuncturist.

Sincerely,

Short answer is absolutely. There are many factors contributing to the enlarged uterus, as soon as we determine the root problem, the treatment protocol will be specifically catered to recondition the body.
Maybe, a lot depends on why this is occurring. If you haven't already, I'd suggest starting with your ob/gyn and get some testing done to make sure there aren't any serious hormonal or cancer-related concerns. If the ob/gyn can't find any problems, then Chinese medicine and acupuncture can be an excellent choice. For a case like this, it's fairly critical that you see a practitioner who can make an accurate diagnosis inside the Chinese system and for that you need to see an NCCAOM board certified person. I'd start with the "Find a Practitioner" page on NCCAOM.org and get a list of practitioners who are local to you. Then, start calling around and see if there's anyone who specializes in gynecological issues or has dealt with this particular problem before. Any acupuncturist can probably help, but someone who specializes in this field will probably get results for you more quickly.
