I need to get a crown on my molar tooth. Do I need a root canal before getting crowns?

no. only if you have pain or if the cavity extended in the nerve
Not typically, but if the decay is very deep to the nerve of the tooth, then it may be recommended.
Its not always necessary to have a root canal unless the nerve of the tooth is involved or becomes elective
Only if there is an infection or deep decay that may require root canal in the future.
No if the pulp is healthy.
