What treatments are offered for retinoblastoma?

My friend is 43-years-old and was diagnosed with eye cancer. What treatments are offered for retinoblastoma?

Removal of the eye.
Need to see a pediatric eye specialist
It is very unusual to see retinoblastoma in an adult. It is much more likely to see melanoma, which can be treated with brachytherapy (a radioactive disc is placed in your eye for several days and then removed).
Options depend on what stage. Removal of the eye on late cases, local resection, and localized radiation therapy
A complex subject best answered by ocular oncology specialists. Usually, a combination or enucleation (surgical removal of the eye), chemotherapy, and/or radiation.
