  • Do I Need a Blepharoplasty

It's no secret that as our skin ages it gradually loses its elasticity. • How long does a neck lift surgery take?

  • How long does it take for nose to look normal after rhinoplasty?

After rhinoplasty, it can take upwards of one year before you have your final result. Usually people hit a reasonable steady state at three months, however, the nose remain swollen for up to one year. Hang in there and everything should be great. Leland READ MORE

  • What should you avoid before rhinoplasty?

Do your best to avoid getting sick or avoid any trauma to your nose. Otherwise stay healthy and look forward to your results. Leland Webb READ MORE

  • How tight should my post surgery bra be?

These should be snug and supportive. It does not have to be too tight. The goal is to take a little bit of the tension off of the incision. Supportive and non-irritating to the Incision site is best. Don’t feel like you have to have it too tight. Leland Webb READ MORE

  • What happens if you don't replace your breast implants?

Realistically, the 10 year replacement mark is a recommendation based on the fact that implants have an increasingly growing risk of rupture each year. If your implants are doing well and there are no issues then you can leave them in place. Consider that if they are sailine, a rupture would result in a smaller breast and subsequent contracture of that breast which may make replacement difficult. There is no rush or urgency at this time, however, it may be some thing to start considering and thinking about changing them out in the near future. Leland Webb READ MORE

  • How long is nose swollen after rhinoplasty?

Usually the nose is swollen for one year, however, this is most recognizable in the first three months. Patience is the key with this kind of swelling. Leland Webb READ MORE

  • How long does pain last after breast augmentation?

Sometimes you can hurt for sometime. Depending on how the augmentation was done, often the muscle is lifted and this takes time for the muscle to stop spasming and find its new expanded place. It also depends on how larger implants are. I usually tell people that it can take up to six weeks for a lot of that discomfort to go away, however, every day should get better. Furthermore as time goes on massage and pocket softness can help with that discomfort. What you’re experiencing right now sounds very normal. I hope you feel better soon. Leland Webb READ MORE

  • When can I stop wearing a surgical bra after breast augmentation?

I generally recommend a 6 week course of support. READ MORE

  • Can you sleep on your side after rhinoplasty?

You can sleep on your side. Most of the time we recommend that you sleep upright, greater than 30°, in an effort to help with the swelling. The other issue is avoiding trauma or pressure to the nose is always a good idea. Leland READ MORE

  • Why does my nose still look bigger after rhinoplasty?

Yes, after a rhinoplasty the nose can remain swollen for a significant amount of time. Usually you will start to notice a difference by about the three month mark, however, you can also have swelling all the way out to one year. We usually discuss with patients that they will have decreasing swelling for a total of one year. It sounds like you are on the right track. Be confident comfortable that it should get smaller with time due to the swelling reduction over this period. Leland READ MORE

  • Does nose job last forever?

Yes, theoretically a rhinoplasty will last you the rest of your life. Our bodies do change over time and our faces do change with aging. However, you can expect that a rhinoplasty will give you a very long lasting result based on the final outcome. Remember that a rhinoplasty takes approximately one year to hit its final steady state. Good luck. Leland READ MORE

  • Can stretch marks be removed permanently?

Yes, stretch marks can be one of those pesky things that are bothersome. This is actually a tear in the dermal layer of the skin from stretch, hence the term stretch marks. Unfortunately the only way to permanently remove them is to permanently remove that skin by cutting it out. Often this is accomplished through an abdom when the stretch marks are present in the lower to mid abdomen. I hope this helps. Good luck. Leland READ MORE

  • How long till I can sleep on my side after rhinoplasty?

We usually recommend that you sleep in an upright position for about 5 to 7 days. The danger of sleeping on your side is that you may roll over onto your face and possibly compromise the results of surgery. However, not every scenario can be prevented, and getting restful sleep is always a positive thing. I think, try your best to sleep in an upright position for as long as you can and discuss with your surgeon when they feel comfortable with you sleeping on your side. Leland Webb READ MORE

  • Outer Ear Wart

This might give you the best possible result. Also, consider some of the more prominent institutions where the support system and variety of skill sets give you the best options. Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Leland H. Webb, who serves patients throughout the State of Arizona.

A skilled plastic surgeon, Dr. Webb is the Founder and Owner of Webb Plastic Surgery, a cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practice dedicated to meeting the goals of their patients in the greater Phoenix area.

The doctor has a longstanding history of integrity, service, and devotion to everything he does, both in his life and career. From earning the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America as a teen to currently serving in the Arizona Air National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel, he continues to strive for excellence in all he does.

Before devoting all of his time to his private practice, he served in the United States Air Force for 17 years. While serving the country, he earned the health professions scholarship for medical school, attending the Wayne State University School of Medicine, and was subsequently promoted to captain when he went on to his general surgery training at Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Webb served as both the general and trauma surgeon at Yokota Air Base in Japan, and was part of the Pacific Command Mobile Forward Surgical Team, which could be dispatched at a moment's notice for specialized surgical missions — including providing surgical coverage for the President of the United States. After his promotion to the rank of Major, he went on to train at the Mayo Clinic, where he specialized in plastic surgery.

Upon completing his training, he was assigned to Travis Air Force Base in California – the largest Air Force hospital in the world – where he worked as a Reconstructive and Plastic Surgeon while earning the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. As part of his professional military education, he attended the Air War College to advance his leadership skills, graduating with an outstanding record — the highest distinction possible.

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

Moreover, he is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

With a passion for teaching, Dr. Webb maintains academic appointments at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the University of Arizona. When he is not helping patients, he enjoys teaching residents and collaborating with peers and other leading plastic surgeons.

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two main categories - reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. A plastic surgeon’s primary responsibility is performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, and they use a variety of reparative and reconstructive techniques to get the job done.

In addition to being a plastic surgeon, Dr. Webb loves being a husband to his college sweetheart and a father to his two children. He enjoys everything competitive and continues this drive through cycling and obstacle course racing.
