What symptoms led up to your diagnosis?

My mammo was clear! 8 months later, I found a pea size lump....Had a mammo again and a biopsy and it was cancer stage 2, involved lymph node.

What tests did your doctor do, and what was this experience like?

Had a CET scan, then PET scan to see if it were anywhere else...No evidence anywhere else. Had 12 cycles of chemo. 38 radiation.

Upon learning about your diagnosis, what happened next?

I was scared to death, then pity party, then anger and prayer. Had my breast removed then a year of all the chemo/radiation...And recovery. Now 19 years from diagnosis!!!!
